A study I painted using a limited palette (Venetian Red, Yellow Ochre Pale, Prussian Blue, Raw Umber and White). I had never used Prussian Blue before and it was difficult for me at first, but I kept telling myself that "this is only an experiment" so I kept pushing through. The painting ended up very muted but I like the effect. For reference I used a painting that I found on the internet but I don't know the artist -I deviated from the original quite a bit, even changing the eyes so they are now looking at the viewer.
